New Site Layout

Postby Rocketeer on Mon Jul 21, 2008 8:13 pm

It's finally here... the new site layout is live.

A few features have been lost during the migration - rest assured, I have copies of everything, so if there's something missing that you want back, just let me know.

A couple of people have reported problems logging in... if this happens, just clear your cookies - what's happening is that the settings from the old site have somehow got stuck on your computer.

Enjoy!

Nationals

Postby Em on Tue Nov 20, 2007 4:24 pm

I really hope you guys check this website! In traditional warwick style the email system is bust exactly when we need it so for those of you who check the website here are some preliminary details!!

If you are going I need you to give me your mobile number and let me know a) If you are willing to drive to the Nationals
b) Whether you live Leamington, Campus or Cov/Earlsdon.

I also need you to give £5 cash to me or Jackie for your nightclub entrance tickets.

I still haven't had details from gareth yet (though haven't been able to get into my email since Sunday) so exact leaving time is tbc but it will likely be fairly early Saturday morning.

You will need:
Your gi and training stuff (don't forget some sandals/ flip flops for wearing off the mat)
Some partying clothes
A warm jumper or jacket (waiting for the competitions in the afternoon can get a bit chilly)

Food, there is a bar at the birmingham centre but the food isn't great and there are often queues so I suggest packing some lunch.

I think that's it for now, please let anyone you know who is going to check the website! I'll try get an email out but obviously it depends on I.T services (and we all know how brilliant they are!)

Upcoming Events

Postby Adam on Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:29 pm

Some dates for your diary:

Regionals
Saturday 3rd November,
Loughborough University.
This is a course for the whole of the East Midlands region, giving you a chance to train with lots of different people (also the one's you'll probably be grading along side), and taught by the top senseis in the Region.

Nationals
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th November,
Telford.
A huge get together for the whole of the Jitsu foundation, 2 mornings of training, and a competition in the afternoon (split in to the grades). On the Saturday evening we all go out for a meal and then to a club (competitions here are optional).

Pre-Grading
Saturday 1st December,
Loughborough University.
Because its never to early to start thinking about it! You need to attend 2 out these courses to be eligible to grade, however its really worth making all of them!
